Shaping our Electricity Future Advisory Council
The advisory council engages on the issues, challenges and activities set out in the Shaping Our Electricity Future Roadmap.
EirGrid and SONI assessed potential options for facilitating ongoing industry engagement on the issues, challenges and activities set out in the Shaping Our Electricity Future Roadmap. As a result, we have established the Shaping Our Electricity Future Advisory Council.
Role of the Advisory Council
The Advisory Council meets regularly to provide input on the issues, challenges and activities set out in the Shaping Our Electricity Future Roadmap.
The remit and purpose of the advisory council is to:
- Discuss, review and help facilitate the progress of the Shaping Our Electricity Future programme
- Share relevant information related to implementing the programme
- Communicate and engage with stakeholders
- Provide a forum to discuss stakeholder views on issues which impact the implementation of the programme
- Provide input, advice and assistance on matters related to the programme
