Some of our activities need to comply with procurement laws. We use different procurement approaches depending on the monetary value of the contract. Our approach is always in line with procurement legislation (both EU and national).

EU Thresholds
Contracts with a value above the procurement threshold are advertised through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).
The threshold is:
- Goods or services greater than €443k
- Works greater than €5.53m
- Social and other specific services greater than €1m

Tender Name: PMO Senior Financial Resource
Description: EirGrid have an urgent requirement for one (1) Senior Financial Resource, to manage the PMO activities for the CFO Directorate. The assignment will be flexible and for a short-term period of anywhere between 3 and 12 months, with the option to extend for a further 6 months if required (no more than 18 months in total)

Tender Name: Trading Services for EWIC GB Imbalances
Description: In order to effectively manage imbalance exposure in the event of a forced outage and reduce EIDAC’s overall exposure, it is necessary for EirGrid to engage an energy trader on behalf of EIDAC. The trading agent will carry out trading (buy and sell energy) in the GB electricity markets on behalf of EIDAC to reconcile the market position of EWIC in GB
