Employee Code of Conduct
The Employee Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour and integrity expected of all EirGrid employees.
It reflects EirGrid’s values and commitment to acting responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
The Code provides a framework for making the right decisions in day‑to‑day work, covering areas such as personal and business integrity, conflicts of interest, respect and dignity at work, protection of information, and the responsible use of EirGrid resources.
Directors’ Code of Conduct
The Directors’ Code of Conduct establishes the ethical principles and standards expected of Directors of EirGrid plc, its subsidiaries, and EirGrid‑appointed directors to joint venture entities.
It supports effective corporate governance by promoting transparency, accountability, and trust, and provides a clear reference point for decision‑making and the management of conflicts of interest.
The code ensures that directors act in a manner that protects EirGrid’s integrity, reputation, and long‑term interests.
Protected Disclosures Policy
The Protected Disclosures Policy outlines EirGrid’s arrangements for the reporting and handling of concerns relating to wrongdoing. It demonstrates EirGrid’s commitment to an open and ethical culture in which concerns can be raised safely, confidentially, and without fear of penalisation. The policy explains how disclosures are assessed and managed and sets out the protections available to workers in accordance with applicable legislation, including access to independent reporting channels.
Financial Crime Policy
The Financial Crime Policy sets out EirGrid’s approach to preventing, detecting, and responding to financial crime, including fraud, bribery, and corruption. It reinforces EirGrid’s commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability across all activities and third‑party relationships. The policy forms a core part of EirGrid’s governance and risk management framework and complements the Codes of Conduct and Protected Disclosures arrangements.
