TU Dublin Enterprise Academy facilitates landmark MOU with EirGrid for strategic talent development

The Enterprise Academy at TU Dublin is delighted to announce the facilitation of a significant memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Technological University Dublin and EirGrid plc. 

This strategic collaboration will enable TU Dublin and EirGrid to collaboratively design accredited talent development solutions aimed at upskilling EirGrid's workforce.

EirGrid is the state-owned company that operates, maintains and develops the electricity transmission system in Ireland. The company is responsible for a safe, secure, and reliable electricity supply, and for driving the transition to a low-carbon future. 

As the integration of renewable energy sources increases the complexity of grid systems, EirGrid faces a growing need for enhanced technical and operational skills within its expanding workforce. 

This collaboration will support EirGrid's objectives to develop internal expertise, facilitate knowledge-sharing, equip highly skilled employees with teaching tools, and build scalable training programs to expand critical skillsets, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning to support business growth.

The TU Dublin Enterprise Academy works with enterprises across all sectors to create flexible, scalable, and accredited solutions to meet the current and emerging skills needs of its industry partners. 

The Enterprise Academy specialises in co-designing organization, industry, or function-specific learning solutions, recognising and accrediting existing industry programs through collaborative provision, and bridging on-campus learners with enterprise faculty for live challenges and guest lectures. 

This new MOU with EirGrid exemplifies the Enterprise Academy's commitment to delivering impactful and relevant talent development programs.
