Powering Up Ireland - 2024 in Review

As part of EirGrid’s role, we manage 7,500km of electricity circuits, including overhead power lines and underground cables. 

That’s enough to stretch across the Atlantic – and back again! 

This year, in addition to managing the electricity grid, EirGrid reached some key milestones on our journey to delivering a cleaner energy future.
