Minister invites applications for position on Board of EirGrid plc
The Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of ordinary member on the Board of EirGrid.
Candidates for the role must have significant experience in at least two of the following:
- developing and maintaining constructive relationships and influential engagement with community, governmental (national or local), regulatory and/or industrial stakeholders in the context of delivering major infrastructure projects;
- addressing the strategic risks and associated stakeholder engagement central to the delivery of major infrastructure projects related to stakeholder sentiment, planning consents, compliance, and community impact;
- understanding the critical role the electricity network plays in supporting security of supply, competitiveness, economic development and the transition to a low carbon environment.
